Some people might consider Ryan Reynolds to be the gift that keeps on giving.
Sure, he has been in a bunch of well received movies like "Deadpool," "Free Guy," and "Waiting...," but he has had his fair share of box office misfires.
Reynolds started his career early in life, and after appearing in several television shows and TV movies, he got his first big break with "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" where he plays a fast talking scamp that doesn't play by the rules. Sounds familiar, no?
Joking aside, Reynolds is certainly popular these days with his excitement around playing Marvel's Merc with a Mouth, his constant back and forth on social media with his famous wife Blake Lively, and of course his cell phone service company Mint Mobile.
Of course, there are also the non-Marvel movies he's cast in as well, like Apple TV+'s Reynolds and Will Ferrell festive team-up "Spirited."
However, it seems that Reynolds' current popularity is breathing life into one of his older movies, and one that certainly qualified as a flop when it was originally released.
Currently in the Top 10 on Netflix, Ryan Reynolds's "R.I.P.D." is certainly attracting the attention of many viewers.
"R.I.P.D." was originally released back in 2013, and it stars Reynolds and Jeff Bridges as two law enforcement agents.
